Description

The Doctoral Student Research Award promotes research that contributes to a better knowledge and understanding of Canada and its relationship with the United States. The grant is design to give doctoral students an opportunity to conduct part of their research in Canada. Applicants must be students at accredited US and Canadian four year colleges and universities whose dissertation are related in substantial part to the study of Canada or Canada-US relations.

Applicants may request funding up to US $10,000 (minus $500 which will be awarded after the ICCS, through the Canadian Embassy, receives an electronic version of the candidate's research activities).
