National Physical Science Consortium, Graduate Fellowships in the Physical Sciences

Description

Three different fellowship programs are offered for students aspiring for a doctoral degree and a career in the physical sciences. There is a emphasis on recruitment of a diverse pool of female and underrepresented minority applicants. The Traditional Fellowship covers the first two or three years of graduate school with the possibility of continuation of up to six years. The Dissertation Support Program covers the period of dissertation research and defense, up to a maximum of four years. The Internship Program is for summer research.

Each fellowship is worth up to $21,000, depending on the university a Fellow attends.
