French Language Institute, Summer Sessions Graduate Degree Program
| Description |
| The offerings of the Institute are conceived to perfect oral and written language skills and to provide an in-depth knowledge of contemporary France as manifested through its language, institutions, culture and social debates. For high school teachers, the Institute offers a program of quality which will enhance professional skills and provide the means to bring an image of contemporary France as a living society with deep cultural roots to the classroom. For business executives, Foreign Service Officers, and graduate students in French or other languages, the Institute's program provides an opportunity to improve their language competence and knowledge of France today. With five areas of study (Language, Linguistics, Culture, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies) the program offers the possibility of developing a specialized curriculum shaped to respond to the needs of each student. |
