Computer Science Graduate Degree Program

Description
The Computer Science Department offers an excellent environment for research and education in all major areas of computer science. Through research, courses, and special topic seminars, graduate students have a high degree of interaction with the department's excellent faculty, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary research. Course offerings in the graduate program reflect emphases in the foundations in computer science, systems, and applications. One of the most important aspects of the program is the wealth of 'hands-on' opportunities for students. Graduate students have access to specialized research facilities that include the CISE Infrastructure Project, Bioinformatics, Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Vision and Graphics, Distributed Systems and Databases, Mobility Management and Networking, Networking and Multimedia Systems, Collaborative Technologies, Parallel Systems, Reliable Software, Theory of Computation Laboratories, Human Computer Interaction, e-Commerce, Computational Geometry, and Computer and Network Security.
