Global and International Studies Graduate Degree Program

Description
The two-year M.A. program prepares future decision-makers for global and international studies professions by broadening their analytic abilities and intercultural sensitivities. It also provides a base for those students who choose to pursue further graduate work in global and international studies.

The program emphasizes processes that are global in character. It is rooted in the increasingly transnational paradigm of the 21st century. In addition to providing a foundation for international careers in government or the private sector, the program is distinctive in giving central emphasis to civil society--the growing “third sector” of non-profit, non-governmental organizations--ranging from human rights and environmental protection to grass roots economic development efforts.
