UCSB Society of Postdoctoral Scholars (SoPS)
The University of California, Santa Barbara's Society of Postdoctoral Scholars (SoPS) is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the postdoctoral experience at UCSB. By providing resources to aid postdoctoral scholars with their professional and personal development we hope to create a vibrant community of scholars. We provide information and support on a range of topics including (but not limited to) career advancement, financial support, research development and childcare and family issues. We hope you will join us in building a community of postdoctoral scholars at UCSB who can benefit from each others’ knowledge, experiences and expertise. National Postdoc Association (NPA)
- This professional organization focuses on issues that face postdocs nation wide. It has made significant gains for postdocs in the US. UCSB is a sustaining member and UCSB postdocs are entitled to access NPA news and Web site content. You will need a UCSB.edu email address to access the members’ only pages.
